how hide "discussion" item list?

i tried this, didn't work:

#nav-talk {display:none !important};

you may have specificity issue.

try 

#psp-primary-header > #psp-main-nav > #nav-talk {display:none;}

then remove parent ids 1 @ time find specificity conflict is.

for example, if have:

.nav #nav-menu li {display:inline-block !important;}

that applied over:

#nav-talk {display:none !important;}

with #nav-talk having display:inline-block

see difference between id vs more specific
