asp.net mvc - Client side filtering and server side paging etc -


i have kendo mvc grid configured use custom data source. following shows configuration data source:

on clicking on filter button, though set false, datasourcerequest made. looking @ rendered html , js, not see serverfiltering attribute @ all. assume mean false.

looking @ forum responses on telerik, guess there no way stop requests being made on applying filters.

is there option/work around implement server side paging sorting etc while keeping filter client side?
