Print RDLC report across multiple columns (newspaper format) -


i trying create rdlc report in newspaper 2 column format. first venture rdlc report , absolute noob here.

i have tried follow instructions here

how can generate rdlc report on 2 columns?

but still report shows in 1 single column. have decreased font there plenty of space both columns fit, still report body content never spills on second column

some other forums tell use filter variable display odd rows on left , rows on right, , on, cannot use approach because client requirement second column used if first column filled.

you have wast "white space" around table still counts "used" space. 1 of things makes rdlc "push" can second page. things to:

  1. reduce report size (in designer) table size no white space
  2. set report size , margins in report properties window:

  1. look @ columns , columnspacing properties of report per: .rdlc report: text on page in 2 columns
