crash - how to backup everything in hadoop including data, metadata and configurations -


i have confusion regarding hadoop backup & recovery if master server down or master server stop reason. have installed ambari managing hadoop cluster. of people guide me don't want take care crash master server zookeeper manage , assign of other server take responsibility work master server in cluster. question if master server down how can manage ambari server functionality managing services. of people told me secondary namenode have snapshots have metadata , manage how manage ? confusing regarding hadoop restore , backup service. go through ibm recovery , option need use. got below link ibm artical regarding ambari backup & restore service.
