Is there any API to add path.repo configuration to already running ElasticSearch Instances? -


i have single node elasticsearch instance has been running month now. need start backing up. backup-restore api need entry in elasticsearch.yml. need restart es make reflect change. there alternative it? there anyway can make entry or pass backup location parameter api can run without restarting es instance?
