sdn - Getting LLDP packets instead of TCP packets -


i working sdns. but, when sending tcp packets, getting lldp packets on ovs-switches in tcpdump.

can give lead here?

it not clear topology or tools using can say, normal see lldp packets in setup. in network topology devices send lldp packets each other.

the link layer discovery protocol (lldp) vendor-neutral link layer protocol in internet protocol suite used network devices advertising identity, capabilities, , neighbors on ieee 802 local area network, principally wired ethernet. lldp information sent devices each of interfaces @ fixed interval, in form of ethernet frame.

as didn't give details, i'm not sure seems lldp packets not related tcp packets mentioned. have give more details setup , purpose.
