visual studio code - Brace completition only before white space? -


i'm finding way vs code atm, replacement atom various reasons.

but there 1 thing bugs me.. why brace completion work before whitespace?

eg: "{" doesn't complete braces, " {} " does.

is there way fix behaviour? want brace completion everywhere..
