refactoring - How can I make IntelliJ refactor->rename parameter only rename the local version of it? (Kotlin) -


i have overridden function, parameter has different name in overridden version.

original function:

fun hookevent(event: event) { ... }

overridden function:

fun hookevent(e: event) { ... }

this gives me warning can cause problems when using named arguments.

when select refactor->rename, , try rename 'e' (in overridden function) 'event', intellij searches entire project , finds every single place have overridden original function, , tries rename parameter in of them. conflicts because in of places, 'event' local variable in functions.

i want rename particular instance of parameter, in particular overridden function. how?
