which is the simplest framework in order to build a Workflow in Java? -


i in beginning of java web application project , have decide framework use in order build workflow(s).

i looking simple , easy framework, because need few workflows.

i looked frameworks easyflow, bonita, jbpm, activiti.

which framework suggest use, given that:

  1. the web application not complex , not need ultimate framework build workflows.

  2. the framework should simple possible (not complex), not overkill developer.

  3. the workflows based on roles defined on wildfly server.

i want read answers , appreciate it, if describe reasons have suggested framework.

i have been using jbpm in workplace past 2,5 years , has been running in production in last 2 years.

before joined company, used use activity.

i don't know reasons why want change it. however, 1 of reason is not suitable requirements. in addition, jbpm community's response relatively fast.

i not developer keep modelling business process. however, should @ least know java there script have write in java in order overcome complex issues.

the installation stress-free have provided docker, , in love since used 6 months ago. latest version (6.5) feel has been more stable compared 6.4 or 6.3. comes kie-server , workbenches. basically, workbench web-framework model business process while kie-server run time after deploy container , has rest api communicate client side.

in summary, though models relatively complex, believe can suited needs need few workflows. hope helps. perhaps need other opinions in regard other products
