netbeans - Take focus off browser when running selenium tests java -


since got new laptop (windows 10 pro) @ work, installed netbeans ide using selenium , writing java code our automated tests.

now when running test chrome , ie take focus , makes impossible other work. firefox not take focus.

my previous laptop windows 7, did not have issue , tests ran focus "off", colleague using windows 8 , works same old windows 7 laptop.(the browser minimized or in of other applications) home workstation using windows 8, steals focus of screen.

i have read solution use vm (selenium tests takes focus). thoughts version update this? use vm last resort.
