Getting eclipse to select words with key binding -


i trying work in eclipse on thing better support there. want make ctrl+shift+left select word before cursor , ctrl+shift+right select word after cursor in normal text editor.

when try set in general -> preferences -> keys choosing next word and/or select next word nothing happens when try afterwards. seems broken.

is there fix or bug?

it maven project imported , had been created in previous version of eclipse. when creating new project problem disappeared. no idea why.

javascript - Replicate keyboard event with html button -
