vmd - How can I remove every nth line of a text file? -


i don't know great deal programming if i'm honest, simple if possible. don't know language use, or how go using it. text editing i'm doing in notepad++.

a bit of context: i'm using vmd visualise dynamic of molecules in box. i'm using tinker, , outputs .arc file of positions of atoms @ every frame. .arc text file, , mine on order of 100,000s or 1,000,000s of lines long if effects anything. (i can't change vmd or tinker)

at start of each new frame there line tells box. same in every new turn, tells dimensions of it. every 621 lines example, there "trash" line need rid of. vmd not this. how best go removing these lines?
