i know how 2 platforms communicating each other, let me come example lets take app tinder, can app android , iphone, , people using android can match people on iphones.

am overthinking concept , sql databases or how work?

this question similar asking how different brands of tvs can display same content. data in these apps stored in companies' databases. ios , android apps act television screens, displaying data these databases.

every time make change profile or interact anything, information sent server , updated.

this way, every time access profile on different device, information remains same. no matter platform (ios or android) being used, same process takes place, , same data displayed.
