unity3d - Long chain / rope in unity2D -


i have created chain smaller chain segments , hingejoints. when there lot of segments chain gets elastic. , putting weight end breaks chain. adjusting mass of individual links improve link "strength". gives unnatural behaviour weight attached.

  1. are there other factors mass determine strength of hinge joints?

  2. any idea how create long chain less elastic (stronger).
